From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: ZILIA (Perry). S. and F. dark lavender-blue overlaid rose; more rose in falls than in standards; bright orange beard. Good size bloom; well branched. Height, 33 to 40 inches. Splendid foliage. Midseason. $2.00
From Sam Carpenter Garden catalog, 1927: ZlLlA (Perry 1924) - Strong growing variety; stout branching stems, bearing large well shaped flowers. S. and F. uniform shade of dark lavender-blue, overlaid rose, very pretty. $2.00.
