'Yankee Maid' (Fred Gadd, R. 1972). Seedling#26-68. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Purple, flushed red; ruffled falls; black beard. 'Yankee Boy' X ( 'Jean Boyd Fitt' x ( 'Indiana Night' x 'Black Diamond')). Wethersfield Iris 1974. Honorable Mention 1977.
