'Woodward Centennial' (Hooker Nichols, R. 1986) Seedling #8287J. TB, 36" (91 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards white, suffused deep yellow; falls white, edged gold, deeper hafts; orange beard; sweet fragrance. 'Debby Rairdon' X 'Saturday Night Fever'. Hillcrest Iris 1987.

From AIS Bulletin #264 January 1987 Introducing WOODWARD CENTENNIAL (N. Nichols '87) TB, 36". Elegantly ruffled flowers on multi-budded stalks sporting 8-10 buds. Standards are white, suffused deep yellow; broad ruffled falls are white, edged gold with deeper hafts and orange beards. Fertile both ways. An iris honoring our city's Centennial celebration. Debby Rairdon X Saturday Night Fever. $30.00. Hillcrest Iris Garden.
