Awaiting original catalog description |
WONDERFUL WHITE, Tell's improved SWAN BALLET, slow to establish and late to bloom, is well worth waiting for. A slight suffusion of blue, found at the base of the standards, accentuates the pristine whiteness. The texture might be likened to that of magnolia petals. Exquisitely formed blossoms, with "new look" horizontal falls, are supported by strong, tall stems. Once established, it is a fast grower. Melba Hamblen, "Honors, Review and Preview", A.I.S. Bulletin 164 (Jan. 1962): 15. |
