Standards very pale blue (lighter than RHS 97D); Falls cool white; beards light blue; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Deep Pacific' X seedling# 81-9: (('Ivy League' x 'River Patrol') x 'Navy Strut'). Stahly 1992.

From AIS Bulletin #285 April 1992 Introducing WINTER SONNET (Stahly '92) TB, 36", M. Standards very pale blue (lighter than RHS 97D), falls cool white, light blue beards. This near white of terrific ruffled form and substance comes from two deep blue parents. Strong stalks produce 8 buds opening over an extended period. Producing good blue beard seedlings.
