'Wine Merchant' (John Knaus, R. 1986) Seedling# K-79203. TB, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards shell grey (RHS 156D) with wine red infusion, faint gold edge; falls velvety deep wine red (187A), thin lighter edge, near white zonal area around gold (17A) beard; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 7505: ('Melodrama' x 'Allegiance') X 'Latin Lover'. Knaus 1987. Exhibition Certificate 1984.
