(TB) 'Will O' The Wisp'
1934, Stahlman/Washington
'Will O' The Wisp' (
Mrs. Edward Stahlman and
Thomas Washington, R. 1934) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class Y6L reversed.
'Will O' The Wisp' (Washington, 1934) is a beautiful tall yellow bicolor. I believe it is a seedling of 'Mary Geddes' X 'Purissima'. The standards are large, broad and well domed of soft canary yellow. Falls of cream white horizontal and of heavy substance. Styles are same tone as falls, with a deep orange beard. ----Mabel Carey Tobie p58 AIS Bulletin #59 October 1935 Iris notes on Mrs. Thomas Nesmith's collection.
