From Knopf Iris Gardens catalog,1966: WHITE KING: Sdlg. No. 64-29 TB 36" ML. Celestial Snow x Beauty Queen. This is as the name implies - basically a white iris, with just enough cream at the throat to bring out the beauty in the ruffling that is superb. Perfectly branched on strong stalks. We feel this is a big advance in the white class. Net $25.00. H.C. '65. |
