1990, Hamblen

'Whispering' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1988). Seedling# H83-31G. TB, 34" (86 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards smoky pink (RHS73C), lighter center, deeper toned rim and haft area; falls slightly deeper (73B), light center, deeper rim and hafts; purple violet (80B) beard brushed red orange; laced and ruffled. 'Dance Away' X 'Nancy Glazier'. Roris Gardens 1990. Honorable Mention 1994.
