From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2015: WHISPER IN THE WIND (T.Johnson ‘15) TB Early-Midseason 36” (91cm). ‘Whisper in the Wind’ is a lovely white ground plicata with wide violet to blue purple sanded banding in the standards and narrower more solid banding on falls. Very cool styles are deep purple to near black. It is an extremely floriferous and vigorous iris with a very long bloom season. Show stalks make this an easy contender for “Queen of Show”.
