'Westside Story' (Neva Sexton, R. 1969) Seedling# 23-1964. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early bloom. Greenish yellow self; ruffled; blue tipped beard. 'Mixed Emotions' x 'Carved Jade'. Sexton 1969.

'Westside Story' is a light yellow-green with a blue-tipped beard. It blooms for a very long period of time, just as its parent 'Mixed Emotions' did. This comes closest to being a yellow with a blue beard of all the tall bearded varieties. [Mullin, Ron (1971). Irises I Like, American Iris Society Bulletin 204(January 1972), 13.]
