From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: WESTERN DREAM (Weed). S. dark blue-lavender; F. slightly darker; beard orange with lighter tip. Lord of June type. Midseason. Height, 33 to 36 inche.s $1.00.
From Treholme Gardens catalog 1928: WESTERN DREAM (Weed 1923) E. 85 G. 87 36" V. L. S. light violet; F. hyssop violet; orange beard tipped lighter; vigorous and very free flowering. An impressive light violet self of great beauty, between Queen Caterina and Mary Orth. 1.00.
