2009, Blyth

'Wedding Kiss' (Barry Blyth, R. 2009). Seedling# O149-A. TB, 38" (97 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards and falls lemon cream; beards gold; slight sweet fragrance. 'Sugar Bomb' X 'Wild Sugar'.

Hybridizer's Comment: There are not many really modern good cream coloured iris available today and here is an addition that will lift the benchmark. It is a lemon cream self with just a shade more lemon in the standards and on the reverse of the falls. Beards are gold. Flowers as can be seen are very ruffled and fluted. Branching is good with show stems. Soft and pleasing. Fertile.
