From Fay catalog, 1957: Waxing Moon $20.00 (1957) No. 53-44--Yellow from Pink Breeding. Round and full petaled, very clear medium light yellow self with a beard to match; no haft marks. The color is so clear that this flower radiates a yellow inner light. 35 inches tall, well branched. H.C. 1954.
From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: WAXING MOON (Fay '57) EM-36". Beautiful; lacy ruffling & wonderful texture & such wonderfully rounded flowers it does look like a big round moon.
