From Contemporary Gardens catalog,1980: WARM EMBRACE. TB, 30" (76 mm), Midseason. This moderately ruffled medium to deep azalea pink received many favorable comments in the Tulsa convention gardens under Sdlg 0-12. The horizontal to flaring falls have slightly deeper texture veining which intensifies the color. Excellent branching, having up to 3 branches plus spur, 9 buds. Deep azalea pink beard.
