From Sunnyside Gardens catalog, 1941: WAMBA—(Gage, 1941), (Grace Sturtevant x ). This is practically a deep violet seif with Hyacinth Violet standards, Fluorite Violet falls. The style branches are the same color as the standards, and there are brown venations at the haft. Beard is coppery bronze. Splendid form, good branching and velvety texture. An early bloomer.
