From AIS Bulletin #345 April 2007 Introducing WALKING WILD (Niswonger '07), TB, Sdlg. 42-00: Rear View Mirror X Crowned Heads. 36" (91 cm), Mid. A reverse amoena type with the falls near white and the standards blue. Probably the most vigorous from this cross. It won the Best seedling twice (2000 and 2002) and an EC in 2006 in the SEMO Iris Society shows. It has 8 to 9 buds with three open at one time, well branched and hearty. Feltile both ways. The name was supplied by Joy Seckler from Green field, TN. $45.00. Cape Iris. |
