From Fryer's catalog, 1921: Standards white, tinged violet; Falls maroon with yellow border, reticulated yellow at base, center overshadowed violet. Fragrant. Free bloomer. 22". 75ยข or $7.50/doz.
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: W. F.CHRISTMAN (Fryer 1917). S white, tinged violet, some flaked and reticulated with violet on the inner side; F. purple, reticulated white, with a light border; beard yellow; fragrant. 22 inches. 25 cts. each; 60 cts. for 3; $2.00 per doz.
 
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: W. F. CHRISTMAN (Fryer). S. white with pale lilac-rose tint; F. deep violet-purple with border to match S. Very floriferous. Like some Irises previously listed, this Iris is in the Rhein Nixe class. Midseason. Height, 24 to 30 inches $0.35.
