From Sam Carpenter Garden catalog, 1925: W. C. TERRY (1924)- A grand Trojana type, towering branching stems nearly 5 feet high, smothered with large brilliant coloured flowers; S. light violet-blue; F. bright crimson-purple with a bold white base, yellow beard. A strong rampant grower and remarkably free. $6.00.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: W. C. TERRY (Perry). S. light violet-blue; F. bright crimson- purple with a bold white base; yellow beard. An Ann Page type of bloom with very much more lilac-rose in its coloring than that variety. Late. Height, 36 inches. $1.50.
