'Vitus Bering' Витус Беринг (Sergey Loktev, R. 2007) Seedling# 00-576-2. TB, 32" (82 cm). Very early to midseason bloom. Standards silvery light blue, darker at midrib and base; style arms yellow, blue midrib, light blue crests; falls violet, cream white haft pattern; beards white base tipped yellow in throat to light yellow at end. 'World Premier' X 'Tennison Ridge'. Loktev 2008.

Translation: Витус Беринг = navigator, traveler, the name of Bering was named the island, the Strait.
