1991, Schreiner

'Vigilante' (Schreiners, R. 1990) Seedling# W 872-A. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards mustard yellow (RHS 163C); falls maroon black (187A); beards old gold. Seedling# L 873-3, 'Peking Summer' sibling, X seedling# T 1576-B: ('Gypsy Caravan' x 'Cayenne Pepper'). Schreiner 1991. Honorable Mention 1993; Award of Merit 1995.
