2018, Middleton
'Velvet Midnights' (Gary Middleton, R. 2018). Seedling 11-GTBTS#11. TB, 40" (102 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards deep violet-black (between RHS N186B and 79A); style arms deep violet; falls black (between RHS N186A and 203B), light violet ground around upper beard, veined black; beards electric blue-violet (RHS N89A); ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Ghost Train' X 'Before the Storm'.
