From Irisknoll Catalog, 1942: Unique—Early, through mid-season. Height 34 inches. Fair branching. A flower of large size with form and real substance. Standards wide; falls wide, spreading. An odd tone of purplish Vinaceous (Ridgway) with hint of livid brown lightened by a yellowish undertone, and yellow stvles and beard. Effect, pink-toned. “Unique” it is. Each $10 00. |
