From Glen Road Iris Gardens catalog, 1924: TRUE DELIGHT (Sturt. 1924)— Purest white with styles of deep rose, a flower of great refinement. 3 ft. 15.
From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: TRUE DELIGHT (Sturt. 1924) M. 36". A pink plicata. S. and F. purest white. The edges and style arms are a pure rose pink; a flower of great refinement. It is a free grower and most floriferous and is a real delight in the garden, as it combines so harmoniously with many perennials blooming at that time. It has a sweet pea fragrance, plainly discernable for some distance. $.90.
