'Trophy' OB- (Jack Linse, R. 1957). Seedling# Nscap-55-22. TB-onco. 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards lobelia blue; falls same; deeper at base of blue beard. 'New Snow' X 'Capitola'. Easy Breeze Gardens, 1958. Honorable Mention 1958; White Award 1961.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: TROPHY (Linse '58) EM-37". A truly magnificent flower, calls visitors from all parts of the garden. Great, spreading 9" blossoms are of heaviest substance & have falls 4" wide. Nearly a self in Lobelia blue, with great frilly style arms, a beard of bright, deep blue. Somewhat fertile, & a tremendous increaser. HM'58: C. White Mem. '61. New Snow X Capitola. Regularly $7.50; on $10 order $5.95; on $25 order $4.95.
