TINTED PORCELAIN (Brown 1952) M. A large firm flower of deep pastel lilac with a smooth porcelain-like finish, and over all a sparkling luster. It is a self with the color evenly suffused throughout the bloom. The standards are closed, and the falls broad and flaring. The sturdy stalks are widely branched with no crowding. A notable iris that gives a new tone of color. H.M., A.I.S. 1955. 36 in. $4.00. Fairmount catalog, 1958
