[Cooley's Gardens 1987]: Another vigorous grower, having large blooms. Its coloring is attractive and unusual, showing some BROADWAY traits(one of its parents). THUNDER ECHO has light brown standards with a light violet cast and violet veining. The contrasting falls have a one inch red purple band and specks. Ground is orange yellow with a white signal. An orange brown beard adds to this unusual colored plicata. Eight buds well spaced. Sdlg. 3-1D. -- DavidPotembski - 30 Apr 2013
