From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1951: THE KNOCKOUT (Muhlestein). Midseason. (Remembrance x sdg.: Ming Yellow x Prairie Sunset.) Rich yellow standards, falls lighter brushed heavy yellow on the hafts, each side of the deep orange beard. A clean and delightful combination. Should be useful for breeding lovely yellows, pinks and blends for the flower is large and full in all parts. 36 inches. No. 46-76 C. $5.00
