'Super Stuff' (James Gibson, R. 1984). Seedling# 80-8G. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards greyed orange, edged brown, inner 1" red purple band of red purple (RHS 71A) plicata markings; falls orange ground, stitched red purple on edge, brown signal; greyed orange (170A) beard; ruffled, fluted and laced. 'Columbia The Gem' X 'Queen In Calico'. Gibson Iris 1985.

From AIS Bulletin #256 January 1985 Introducing SUPER STUFF-TB, 35", M, Plicata, Sdlg. 80-8G. $25.00. Very appealing combination of form and color in the garden! The results had to be exotic, yet pleasing, with a parentage of Columbia the Gem X Queen in Calico. Beautifully shaped 7" x 5-1/2" blooms put on a show over a long period. Domed, ruffled and heavily laced stands are highly colored. Laced edge of brown, encompassed by a 1" band of red-purple (RHS 7lA) lines and specks on a greyed orange ground. Ruffled, fluted and laced falls are also nicely held. Outer rim speckled and lined with red-purple specks and dots. Brown signals and rich greyed orange beards add much. Gibson Iris Gardens.
