From the British Iris Society Checklist: TB, 39.5" (100 cm). Peach pink self. 'Edward of Windsor' x Hall pink seedling. In 1948 it was shown at the Chelsea flower show, and the then Queen Elizabeth 'gaciously consented to have it named "Strathmore" after her own home. A beautiful flower of clear apricot pink, a good shape and unusual colour. |
