'Stormclouds Over Putauaki' (Lyn Chappell, R. 2017). Seedling# 12-047. TB, 38" (97 cm), Early bloom. Standards soft lavender, midrib purple, light yellow-tan edge; style arms creamy white, midrib purple, edges yellow-tan, crests tan; falls red-purple, red haft reticulations, small white patch around beard; beards yellow-brown; pronounced spicy fragrance. PBF foliage. 'Ocean Depths' X 'Surfie Girl'.

Hybridizer's Comment: Bred in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand in the shadow of Mt. Edgecumbe(Maori name Putauaki). Colors reminiscant of stormclouds blowing up around the mountain. Phonetic prounciation pu-toe-arki.
