From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing STITCHED BEAUTY (Bion Tolman '74). Midseason-Late, 34". Dancer's Veil X Stepping Out. A classic of a stitched plicata since its width and over-all quality is everything one could ask for. White ground with uniform one-fourth inch stitching of blue-lavender on both standards and falls, as though it has been handstitched. Styles are lavender, showing themselves nicely against the white background. Some light ruffling adds to its over-all charm. The white tipped beard deepens to lemon yellow in throat. #66-134-1. HC 1973. $25.00. Tell's Iris Garden. |
