'Star Billing' (Dorothy Palmer, R. 1979). Seedling# 1076B. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled pink with slight cast of peach; pink-peach beard. 'Pink Sleigh' X 'Miss Dolly Dollars'. Echo Hill Garden 1980.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing STAR BILLING-Sdlg. 1076B: (Pink Sleigh X Miss Dolly Dollars). A perky, frivolous pink with just a hint of peach in its make-up. The well held standards are decorated with lace, framing the picoted stylecrests. Wide, touching falls are horizontal-a mass of lace and ruffles similar to a ballet dancer's 'tu-tu'. They have a bit deeper pink at the haft, surrounding the self beard, but soon melt into the color of the standards. Although stiff and starched, they have a feminine quality. A tantalizing siren to lure one's interest. Mid, 35", HC 1979. $25.00. Echo Hills Garden.
