From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: SPRING MELODY (Miess 1954) M. L. 40 in. (Miess Sdlg. x Ola Kala). We have not as yet bloomed this n·ew Dandelion yellow iris, but it is said to be a beauty with large, flaring flowers having extra broad and heavily ruffled patals. H. M. 1955. 12.00.
