From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1965: SPOONED HARMONY (Austin '65) VL-38". Sometimes surprises with double spoons; mostly single but up to 1-1/2" across, ruffled and frilled! A rose bitone, with standards bronzy rose red, firmly erect and closed. Falls velvety deep crimson, flaring; whole flower very ruffled. Bronzy yellow beards end in spoons matching standards on top and color of falls on underside. A fascinatingly beautiful bloom that will extend your blooming season, as th1s IS one of the latest out.
