From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: SPOONED DELIGHT (Austin '61) M-34". Very first spooned plicata & a very pleasing one. Standards rosy amethyst, falls & spoons white, edged with a peppering to match standards. Spoons fan-shaped, usually about 3/4" across, occasionally frilled or bearded.
