From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2006: SPICED LEMON - TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason. Heavily ruffled lemon standards are washed old gold up ribs and outward toward tops. Bases have cinnamon plicata marks. Ruffled and lightly laced bright brassy gold falls have narrow ginger-brown plicata bands that are heavier over hafts and washed with dots inside the bands. Interesting beards are caramel over brown. Strong stalks have 3-4 branches and 9-12 buds. Should be a very interesting parent for strong growing bright pink or yellow ground plicatas. Sdlg.
