2023, Ghio
'Speed Of Light' (Joe Ghio, R. 2024). Seedling 13-124P, TB, 38" (96.5 cm), Very early bloom. Standards bright gold; style arms; falls white, wide gold band; accordion bubble ruffling; beards white, tipped yellow. ('Pure and Simple' x seedling 06-8D3, 'Beauty Within' sibling) X 'That's All Folks'. Schreiner's Gardens 2023.

| From Schreiner's Iris Garden website: "Attention gatherer on very large blooms with bright gold, tightly held standards. Very broad white semi-flaring falls with wide gold band that lighten off toward the center of the petals. White tipped yellow beards. Accordion bubble ruffling and show branching completes this striking creation. Created much excitement in our gardens during the 2019 National Convention. No. 13-124P: (Pure and Simple x 06-8D3, Beauty Within sib) X That's All Folks." |
