From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1989: SPARKLING FOUNTAIN - TB 36" (91cm), Midseason. The fountain sprays white into the air and cascades back down into blue waters. Huge, blocky flowers have white standards and medium blue falls. Beards are creamy yellow. Stalks and growth are heavy and robust. I first thought its 6 and sometimes 7 buds inadequate, but they open such that it stays in bloom an easy two weeks. Lynn Stoll from Iowa gave it a similar evaluation. Good breeder, especially for amoena plicatas. Sdlg. 8580D: 681-35: (Betty Simon X Magic Candle) X 833116: (Tequila Sunrise sib. X Entourage). SEE PHOTO. $30.00. |
