'Southern Hospitality' (William Bledsoe, R. 1966). Seedling# 64-13. TB, 38" (97 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Color Class-Y1F, Medium yellow self; lighter area below beard. Yellow seedling (unknown parentage) X ('Phoebus Apollo' x 'Techny Chimes'). Bledsoe 1967.

From AIS Bulletin #186 July 1967 Introducing SOUTHERr HOSPITALITY-Yellow seedling X (PHOEBUS APOLLO X TECHNY CHIMES). E-ML. As warm and generous as the quality for which it is named! Canary yellow with self beard. Excellent form and substance. Broad, round falls that are a lighter tone of yellow. Two branches subterminal, and terminal. 35". 7 to 11 buds. Very nice. Net $25.00.
