References:

From Carl Salbach catalog, 1929: SONOMA. An attractive pale corn yellow of vigor and hardiness, making a most effective garden flower late in the season. Its medium size flowers are nearest in color to Yellow Moon, but are larger, rounder and come on stems nearly a foot taller. An adequate stock permits us to introduce this at $5.00.
