From AIS Bulletin #205 April 1972 Introducing SOFT TOUCH (Keppel) E 36" Ballyhoo sib X Montage. A soft and subtle pastel affair. Standards cream with just the faintest flush of pale lavender when first open. Falls white, with a uniform 3/8" nearly solid border of soft lavender blue plicata marking. White beard tipped yellow, touch of tan at the hafts. Standards touch, falls flare. Three or four branches plus terminal, lots of buds. Best seedling in Sacramento show, 1971. EC and HC '71.
