'Soft Melody' (Mrs. F. Allen (Frances) Brown, R. 1968). Seedling# 63-112-A. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-YO1L, Deep apricot-peach self; ruffled; self beard. 'Rainbow Gold' X ('Bright Forecast' x 'Fair Luzon'). Landsend 1968.

From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing SOFT MELODY. Sdlg. 63-1l2-A. (Frances Brown '68). BRIGHT FORECAST X RAINBOW GOLD X FAIR LUZON. A pure self of the cleanest coloring between an apricot and peach. Heavy beard same color as the flower. All good qualities. Has been much admired by the judges. ML. 36". HC '67. $25.00.
