Ruffled and flared falls are red-purple in centers, blending to red-plum toward edges. Unusual black-purple texture veins traverse over the center two-thirds of the falls. A small white patch surrounds vivid tangerine beards. The application of color in the falls is quite unusual. Strong stalks have 2-3branches and 8-9 buds. Sdlg.
