'Skysails' (Tom Magee, R. 1982). Seedling# 7733A. TB, 40" (102 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards medium blue, veined darker, interior darker violet at base; falls medium blue, veined darker, brown haft markings; medium blue beard tipped gold; slight spicy fragrance. Seedling# 749C: (('Bang' x 'Gala Madrid') x ('Wayward Wind' x 'Chartreuse Butterfly')) 'Five Star Admiral'. Long's Gardens 1985. High Commendation 1982; Exhibition Certificate 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #257 April 1985 Introducing SKYSAILS (Tom Magee) TB 40" M Wayward wind at the top of the mast. Medium blue self with dark accents. Wide upright billowing standards and wide horizontal billowing falls. ((Bang x Gala Madrid) x (Wayward Winel x Chartreuse Butterfly)) X Five Star Adn1iral. HC 1982. EC 1984. $25.00. Long's Gardens.
