1949, Muhlestein

'Sky Tint' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1948). Seedling #46-28. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-B1L, Light blue-lavender self. 'Sparkling Frost' X 'Gloriole'. Tell 1949. High Commendation (seedling #46-28) 1948.

From Wallace Iris Gardens 1955: SKY TINT - (Muhlestein '49) E. M. (Sparkling Frost X Gloriole.) Similar to Cloud Castle but standards are very conic. A really delightful light violetblue. H. C. '48. $2.00.
From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: SKY TINT (Muhl. 1949) E. M. 38 in. (Sparkling Frost x Gloriole). A light violet blue of lovely form. Reminiscent of Cloud Castle, this is a better performer in this area and has superior stalks and flowers. H. C. 1948. 1.50.
