From Fairmount Gardens catalog,1962: SKY PATROL 58-16A (Buttrick 1962) M.L. A novel and different pure white iris of especially broad flaring form and strong, firm substance. The standards are domed and firmly held with neatly ruffled borders. The flaring falls are very rounded and full with a crimped pie crust edge surrounding the broad falls. The styling of the falls is most fascinating for they are so evenly crimped that they set off the whole flower. Pure white beard. Beautifully branched having four branches and terminal, thus gives a long season of bloom.(Bluebird Blue x South Pacific) x Concord River. 36 in. $20.00 |
