'Sky Crystal' (Henry Sass, R. 1954). Seedling# 50-152. TB, 38-40", Midseason bloom. Color Class-B1P, Self, blue-white to pale blue (Wilson). Several generations seedlings from 'Snowking' X 'Snosheen'. Fleur de Lis 1955. Honorable Mention 1955; Judges' Choice 1956.

Our favorite of the Sass varieties, this has immense, broad petaled flowers of beautiful semi-flaring form done in a pale blue-white. The substance is very heavy and the finish is gardenia like.
