''Sky Blue Pink' (O. David Niswonger, R. 1994). Seedling# 95-91. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards pink; falls light pink; beards pink, tipped blue. 'Pink Blue Genes' X seedling# 58-88: ('Matinée Idol' x 'Pink Ballerina'). Cape Iris 1994. Honorable Mention 1996.

From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing SKY BLUE PINK (Niswonger '94) Sdlg. 95-91: Pink Blue Genes x 58-88: (Matinee Idol x Pink Ballerina). TB, 34", M. Pinks with blue beards haven't been the easiest color combination to perfect, but this is a good vigorous contribution to this effort. The name was suggested by Mary Lou Cushman of Sherman, TX. Fertile both ways. $35.00. Cape Iris.
