From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing SKATERS WALTZ (Sdlg. 9265P). A large, graceful, ruffled white iris of leatherlike substance. A smooth, glistening self with wide closed standards and broad flaring falls. Heavy white beard touched with lemon. It has good balance and proportions. The clean, pristine blooms on wellbranched, sturdy stalks, are perfectly poised above large, healthy foliage. Vigorous growth. Late Midseason 38" HC 1968. Net $25.00. Echo Hill Gardens. |
